Well, at this moment I am too frustrated. But then, that’s personal, can’t afford to write on it… may be sometime later.
The Parliamentary Elections are almost here… And I will be voting for the first time! I am an adult now, with the power to make and break the government…. It’s a nice feel… Feels so important… But then again, I know it’s all crap-shit. I have only one vote. It doesn’t matter in whose favor I cast it… won’t make any difference!
The major problem with our country is that the corruption runs too deep. When we go to cast the vote, we already know, whoever we elect, is gonna look for his/her own profit… So, what option do we have? Nothing! We can’t even state, “I do not like any of the candidates! They are all unfit!” So much so for DEMOCRACY!
I came across this nice statement that day. “West Bengal has industrialization. Other states have Industries!” Amazingly true! All the leaders are the same. They will start a project, with great interest, a lot of celebrations, press meet, etc. and then that’s it! After a few years, that whole thing comes crashing down… factories get shut down… who cares? There are soo many goddamned projects, who only have the foundation stone! “This project has been inaugurated by the honorable ….” All bunch of buggers…. Assholes!
P.S. I didn’t share with my closest friend, that I am upset. Feeling terribly guilty about it… But then, she has her exams, and a lot of worries of her own… I hope she will understand… I know she will…
